Job Description
The Director of Technical Services, Poultry has overall responsibility for technical service This individual will have overall responsibility for providing first in class tech support to the broiler industry, leverage synergies between Nutriquest capabilities, and support Nutriquest technologies. This position is responsible for developing and implementing unique and differentiated value offers to the broiler industry that is aligned with company goals: create measurable value for the client and satisfaction for the organization. He/she will work closely with the poultry commercial director, RD team, and marketing to establish and execute a long-term strategy for poultry, he/she will partner with R&D and Regulatory to register new technologies in the targeted specie
Essential Functions
- Responsible for creating and executing a sustainable tech service strategy for targeted customers in collaboration with the marketing and commercial directors. Fosters working environment and culture that embraces the NutriQuest values.
- Demonstrate the ability to influence key integrator veterinarians and technical leaders.
- Leverage the synergies working with account managers to position Nutriquest technologies to maximize the value to our customers and return to NutriQuest.
- Facilitate interaction with NQ and targeted customers with technical teams to create mutual value. Become an integral part of the account team and participate in creating and executing account plans.
- Hire and lead the necessary technical resources to execute the strategic plan for the targeted countries.
- Partner with direct reports to create and execute actionable development plans to maximize their potential. Coach team members to increase productivity and engagement.
- Enable customer data management culture within his/her by leveraging CRM tool including account plans, opportunities, and account plan functionalities.
- Develop a team to have the capabilities to leverage the Challenger Sales process to create differentiated customer experiences.
- Work closely with the poultry commercial leader, marketing director, RD team, and VP Global Sales & Marketing to put strategy to move products forward.
- Work with team on complaints/queries concerning product issues.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- MAM preferred.
- 10 years of experience in the broiler industry
- Proven record to influence tech leaders in the industry.
- Global experience and networks in the and poultry market preferred
- Strong critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
- Tailors communication to the customer’s needs with authority; effectively deliver presentations and have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective and proven oral and written communication skills.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Travel Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50%+, with 30-40% of weeknights, two (2) nights per week)
